The Calling.

What has the Lord Jesus Christ called you to do for the Kingdom of God?  Everyone is called to do something for Jesus Christ, but it seems that most people somehow deny their destinies.  Why is this so?  First of all, God has been calling you forever to be one of His disciples.  He wants you disciplined for the Masters use.  He disciplines the ones He loves and that includes everyone because God created everyone and He loves His creations.
So, how do you know that God is disciplining you?  That is a good question, I am so glad you asked.  Or, am I just talking to myself.  I can’t be the only one that God loves.  The Bible says that He chastens the ones He loves.  Are you going through some chastening?  I believe that we all are being corrected because we are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.  Working out our own salvation sounds wrong since Jesus Christ paid the price for our salvation.  So, what is this verse talking about?  I believe we learn obedience through the things we suffer from.  If you are suffering from something, then you need figure out what you are doing wrong because God often disciplines us through our suffering.
Suffering is not God’s perfect will for our lives, but He still uses it for His glory by allowing us to learn from it.  What lessons have you learned from suffering?  I have learned that I don’t want to be under a curse, but a blessing.  We are either cursed or blessed.  It is our choice between the two.  I know this may sound harsh, but it is the absolute truth of the old testament in the Bible.  The people were to either keep the commandments of God and be blessed, or disobey and become cursed.  This is obviously true, plain, and simple to understand, so they were without excuse.
We are under a new covenant of grace, mercy, forgiveness, and peace now since the Lord Jesus Christ shed His blood for us at the cross.  It was there at the crossroad of the cross that a new covenant was established for everyone who was under the Law.  Now we are under grace, not the powerless Law that can only point out our sins unto us.  God didn’t do away with the law, but He fulfilled it by sending His Son in the form of flesh and blood to live a perfect life to show us the true Way to the Kingdom of God.  Christ is the only person to live up to the fullness of the Law, without sinning.  The wages of sin is death, but Christ never sinned, so He shouldn’t have had to die so harshly or at all.  However, He did die for a little while, but He arose from the dead because death could not hold him.  He defeated the power of death, hell, and the grave.  Do you believe this amazing story?
The people wanted a sacrifice for their sins, and they got a living human without spot or blemish sacrifice by the name of Jesus Christ.  So, why was His sacrifice necessary?  I say it was because of the stubbornness and hardness of their hearts.  God never really asked for animal sacrifices, that was devised by man’s own imagination of what God wants.  I know the old testament mentions many things about sacrifices, but does it ever say that God commanded animal sacrifice?  God would never do this because it is against His nature, so why did the Israelites practice animal sacrifices?  I say that they must have got it from an old pagan religion, but I am not for sure.  I will have to do some more research on this subject.  I know God didn’t call Abraham to sacrifice His son Isaac in that way because God provided a ramb instead, but why did God still allow them to sacrifice animals for the forgiveness of their sin?  I will tell you why:  because it foreshadowed the ultimate sacrifice that would eventually come in the True Lamb of God, Jesus Christ.
God was trying to speak and give revelation to all the people of old in the Bible, but they didn’t have the fullness of the Spirit that we have now.  I admit, I don’t understand it all, but apparently Jesus Christ was with the people of Israel in another form, not flesh and blood.  Christ had to put on flesh and blood by the virgin birth of Mary to come into this world to put an end to the pagan ritual of animal sacrifice.  I know some people won’t accept this, but this is the only thing that makes any sense.  They had it all wrong in the old testament times.  God never demands us to sacrifice anything for our sins accept our own lives are supposed to be living sacrifices.  We are to imitate Christ who laid down His life for the sins of His own people and the sins of the world.
Did Jesus have to die to show us the Way to eternal life?  I assume that He did have to be obedient to the will of the Father, if He wanted to fulfill the Law and start the new covenant, which really wasn’t new at all.  It was the Way God always intended for it to be, by grace through faith we are saved, not of works lest any man boast.  God doesn’t change, therefore His purposes, intentions, Laws, and principles never change.  We change, but God doesn’t.  Man has always made up some of his own laws, statutes, principles, and precepts that are not quite in agreement with the perfect Laws of God.
We are just starting to understand by divine revelation the Law of Love, the Law of Liberty, and the Law of Life.  Plus we are just tapping into the Law of Faith or Attraction, the Law of Reaping and Sowing, and the Law of Frequency and Vibration.  I will be the first to admit that I don’t know exactly how these Laws work, but they are part of God’s perfect plan.  Now, let us get back to the main subject: your calling.  What are you doing for God?
Why should He continue to allow you to just suck up oxygen on this earth, when you are doing nothing to promote the Kingdom of God?  Well, He shouldn’t but the Law of Love says that He has to love everyone because It is His nature to love unconditionally.  Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.  The Law of Lordship says that you serve those who are above you in the Lord.  It also says that Jesus Christ is Lord over and above all.  This means that the authority that we have comes directly from Him.  He has given us the keys to the Kingdom of God, but we must use them.  What is the purpose of a key?  To lock and unlock or to bind and loose.  We can use the key of prayer to do anything according to the will of God.
We are called to be ambassadors of the Kingdom of God.  We are the muscle here on earth, not the devil.  Then, why is the devil taking control of this earth?  It is because the true stewards of this earth aren’t using the keys to the Kingdom of God.  I am finished for now.  God bless the souls of those who read these words.  Amen!
