Baptism And Tongues.

The Holy Ghost is for everyone, including all of His gifts.  I am not going to get into all the scripture references to back up this claim, but all one has to do to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost is nothing, except believe.  You receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost the same way you receive salvation, by simply believing and receiving.  This absolutely cannot be any simpler!   God has made His Gift so easy for everyone to freely obtain that the carnal mind will say:  there has to be something else, it can’t be this simple.  Let me tell you that it is so very simple that many people just don’t receive It.  They can’t receive It (no disrespect for the Holy Ghost, hence the capital “I.”  It is not a ghost or a spirit, but THE Holy Ghost or THE Holy Spirit that you are baptised in.  All you have to do is ask God to give you THE free Gift.  The GIFT, the Gift, and the Gift is free.  You don’t deserve this Gift, by your own righteousness, but apparently God wants you to have It because of His own righteousness.  Please don’t try to argue with God about this free Gift.  Don’t say that you are not worthy to receive It because God has called you worthy in Christ Jesus.  Don’t think that you aren’t holy enough or that the Gift isn’t for you, for some known or unknown reason.  It is for you!  I could take you to several scriptures showing you that it is for you, but I won’t because you have to accept this based on knowledge that you should already have in you.  If you are wanting this Gift, and you don’t have a thorough understanding of the Bible, then you probably aren’t ready to receive this Gift.  HOWEVER, you can still receive this Gift for free, which is the only way to obtain It.  The baptism of the Holy Ghost is for everyone, from all ages, and times.  Even, from before Pentecost, believers were filled by the Holy Spirit.  When Jesus was incarnate many people couldn’t receive the baptism or filling of the Holy Ghost, for reasons that I can only speculate on.  Maybe Jesus Christ was so full of the Holy Ghost that nobody else could have anymore of God.  We know that He was and is fully man and fully God.  He also told his disciples that He had to leave for the Comforter to come.  Furthermore, He told them to tarry in Jerusalem until they received the Gift of the Holy Ghost and power from on high.  I am assuming that the disciples and apostles had power and were saved before the ascension of Jesus Christ.  However, they still were lacking the Gift of the Holy Ghost, or were they?  I don’t want to get into a deep theological debate over when the baptism of the Holy Ghost was first given, but I want to make it as easy as pie to receive Him.  I will be the first to admit that I neither deserve the Gift, nor do I take any credit in obtaining the Gift, but all I know is I have It, with evidence of speaking in tongues and other spiritual gifts.  It is my belief that you are to receive the Giver of the Gift first, and then He will give you all the gifts that are intended for you.  Of course, not everyone has all the gifts operating all the time in their lives, but that doesn’t mean they can’t or won’t.  Don’t you dare believe a preacher that trys to limit the Holy Ghost.  I am going to end this little message with a prayer, believing God will baptise many people with the Gift and evidence of tongues.  His Gift and all the gifts are for you, just believe what this prophet is telling you.  If I am lying, I am dying because I would be doing a mighty diservice to God.  I will be held fully responsible for these words because I know and am fully persuaded that God will fill you afresh with His Holy Spirit.  Let us pray:  Father baptise them in your Spirit with evidence as you have done me, in Jesus name.  AMEN!  That simple prayer is all you need.  Now open your mouth and start giving Him praise in your new tongues.
