Jehovah’s Friend

Wouldn’t you want to be known as Jehovah’s friend?  Of course you would, if you had the slightest amount of sence.  What must one do to become the friend of the Most High?  Do we have to follow the law to the “t”, or offer up a sacrifice of praise?  We probably should do these thimgs, but what made Abraham be considered Jehovah’s friend?  James 2:23 says that “Abraham put faith in Jehovah, and it was counted as righteousness, and he came to be called Jehovah’s friend.”  Friends can trust in eachother.  God trusted that Abraham would do whatever he asked him.  Abraham had so much faith in God that he was ready to offer up his son as a sacrifice.  Would you offer up your loved ones as sacrifices?  God may call you to release a loved one to him.  Let go, detach yourself from them for a season, and Jehovah will take over.  We can trust God with our loved ones.  Believe me, God has their best interest in mind.  How is your faithfulness?  Jehovah’s faithfulness is automatic, without a doubt, and guaranteed!  What an honor to be trusted by God.  The Master of the universe trusts us to proclaim his everlasting mercies.  What a mighty, loving, compassionate, and faithful God we have.  He calls us friends and even more, he calls us sons and daughters!
