What Is Faith? Time For A Vision ✔ Check.

Faith is very simple.  According to Hebrews 11:4- “Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld.” To put this in layman’s terms, if you can believe it, then that is all the proof you need.  Faith is believing the unseen based on the word.  Jesus tells us that ALL things are possible to the believer.  Faith has nothing to do with your feelings.  Faith comes as a free gift from God by simply believing the word.  All we need is a word from God.  How much faith does it take to believe a word from a God that doesn’t lie?  Jesus said that a little faith could move mountains.  Either he is a liar, I am blind, or we aren’t exercising our faith properly.  I believe we have a doubt, fear, and unbelief problem.  You see, doubt is the exact opposite of faith.  Doubt and fear will manifest in our lives, just as faith will.  I like to call faith positive vision and doubt/fear negative vision.  Are you seeing through eyes of faith or eyes of fear?   Proverbs 29:18- where there is no vision, my people perish or cast-off restraint (paraphrased).  The lack of vision, or faith, or seeing based on the word will lead to death.  What causes us to doubt our Heavenly Father?  God wants to give us all good things.  Do you feel unworthy to receive?  Why?  God does not care what you do, as long as you walk in faith, hope, and love.  God is no respector of persons, but he is a respector of faith!  Without faith it is impossible to please God because we must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him (Hebrews 11:6).  Knowing your Heavenly Father is faith.  All of your faith should stem from your knowledge of God.  How ignorant and arrogant we sound, when we doubt the Creator of the universe.  If God said it, you had better believe it!  Do you need your vision checked?sword_spirit
